IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING 120/70ZR17  DUNLOP SPORTMAX D211F GP
(not GPA) TIRES

Dunlop prides itself on providing tires which meet or exceed customer performance expectations.  Dunlop has received a small number of complaints from racers about the use of 120/70ZR17 Dunlop Sportmax D211F GP tires on race tracks in the U.S.  The subject tires were manufactured during 2007-2010.

In the interest of customer satisfaction, Dunlop will provide a free replacement tire if you have one of the subject tires.  Tires manufactured after 2010 are not affected.

To read the DOT date code, find the letters DOT on the tire sidewall and read the following twelve letters and numbers.  The last two numbers are the year of manufacture (07 is 2007, 08 is 2008, 09 is 2009 and 10 is 2010).

Only Dunlop Sportmax D211F GP tires (not GPA) of the size 120/70ZR17 and manufactured during DOT date/year code 07, 08, 09 and 10 are covered by this action which runs through July 2012.  Customers must initiate contact with Dunlop before that date to be covered – additionally the tire must be exchanged before August 2012.

If you have one of the subject tires, contact Dunlop at 800-845-8378 to obtain your free replacement tire.  We will issue a call tag to ship the affected tire back to us.  After verification, we will ship you a replacement tire at our cost.
