MOHAM WINS RACE OF THE ROCKIES GTU AT HIGH PLAINS; SECURES ROR GTU CLASS SEASON-LONG POINTS TITLE
Dunlop rider Shannon Moham won the GTU Class of the Race of the Rockies, MRA’s premier event, during racing at High Plains Raceway over the August 23-24 weekend.
Virtually anything goes on bike modification and origin in this class that features the very fastest and most experienced racers. The class is divided into Race of the Rockies GTU (up to a 640cc inline 4) and Race of the Rockies GTO (Unlimited displacement and origin). Moham races his R6 (600) in the Race of the Rockies GTU.
With the win, Moham has also secured first place in the season long Race of the Rockies GTU class points race, the third consecutive season he has won the points title. The MRA season has one more race remaining, September 13-14 weekend at Pikes Peak International Raceway.
