Shannon Moham, Dunlop Race Tire Service, MRA Racing at High Plains RacewayDunlop rider Shannon Moham continues to re-write record books this summer, blistering the Motorcycle Roadracing Association (MRA) field for three more track records August 6-7, during races at the High Plains Raceway Full Course. Moham’s Imperial Sportsbikes tuned Yamaha R6 used Dunlop’s GP-A Pro DOT tires, while Imperial Sportbikes set up his Ducati 848 with Dunlop’s KR-448/KR-451 USA Made Slicks.

Moham, who also holds 11 different track records at Pueblo Motorsports Park, including two set earlier this summer, stamped his name in the High Plains record books with blistering times in the Supertwins GTO, Heavyweight SuperSport, and Heavyweight Endurance races.

On Saturday, Moham rode his Yamaha R6 to a record 1:15.396 in the Heavyweight SuperSport. A couple races later, Moham used his Ducati 848 to post a record-time 1:16.943 in the Heavyweight Endurance. He came back on Sunday and broke the track mark in the Supertwins GTO, riding his Ducati 848 to a 1:16.530. The Ducati was set with Dunlop US Made Slicks, KR-448/soft front with KR-451/soft rears, while the Yamaha was mounted with Dunlop GP-A Pro medium front/soft rear.

Dunlop tires have been producing record times throughout the MRA circuit. Besides Moham, Ryan Burke shattered seven records on the High Plains Raceway North Course earlier this summer with both Dunlop’s GP-A Pro DOT and Dunlop’s KR451 racing slicks.

The MRA season continues on August 27-28 back at Pueblo Motorsports Park, where Moham and Burke look to lock down MRA points titles. Burke finished the weekend, the fifth of seven legs of the MRA season, with a commanding 50 point lead in the season standings for the Race of the Rockies Overall title, as well as another 50 point lead in the Race of the Rockies GTO standings. Moham has a whopping 70 point lead in the Supertwins GTO points race and a competitive three point lead in the Heavyweight Endurance class. Burke and Moham are 1-2 in the Heavyweight SuperSport standings as the two have traded first and second place finishes in all five races this season with Burke just 10 points ahead of Moham and Moham 66 points ahead of third place.
