Shannon Moham, Dunlop Race Tire Service, Imperial Sportsbikes, Motorcycle RacingDunlop rider Shannon Moham continued his record-setting summer by notching another five track records during MRA racing over the August 27-28 weekend at Pueblo Motorsports, including Race of the Rockies GTU, Middleweight Endurance, Heavyweight Endurance, Heavyweight SuperSport, and the qualifying round record in the Race of the Rockies GTU. Earlier this summer Moham set two track marks at Pueblo and three at High Plains, all during MRA racing.

Riding his Imperial Sportsbikes tuned Yamaha R6, Moham used both Dunlop’s GP-A Pro 7455 Medium compound and Dunlop’s US Slick 7455 Medium compound over the weekend. He started his record pace on Saturday with three track records, each of which had been around for a little over two years. Moham posted a 1:32.438 time in the Heavyweight SuperSport, lowering the track record by six-tenths of a second. He shaved nearly 1.5 seconds off the track mark in the Heavyweight Endurance with a 1:33.377 lap and cut 1.4 seconds off the record in the Middleweight Endurance with a 1:34.322 time.

On Sunday he bested his own track marks in Race of the Rockies GTU with a 1:33.269 lap in Qualifying, three-tenths of a second better than the qualifying time he laid down in June 2015. In the competition Moham topped out at a 1:33.564 lap, a full second better than the track mark he set also in June 2015.

Moham now owns 12 different track records at Pueblo Motorsports Park.

MRA racing wraps up with the season finale at High Plains Raceway on September 17-18. Moham and fellow Dunlop rider Ryan Burke are in position to win the points titles in several different classes including the Overall Clubman and a potential sweep of the Race of the Rockies Overall, GTU, and GTO titles.
