Lampe Wins Shootout on Dunlop Rains

Dunlop’s rain tires carried Jeff Lampe to victory at the CCS Florida Regional this past weekend. Lampe won the Unlimited Shootout on Dunlop’s 120/70R17 KR222 front and 190/55R17 KR393 rear rain.

In the race, Lampe passed Bruno Silva for second place then took the lead from Sean Dwyer (on Dunlop rains). Lampe was passed by Jacques Gonzalez (also on Dunlop Rains) and watched him for several laps.  On the last corner of the last lap, Lampe passed him on the inside for the win.

“I would like to thank Dunlop for all their support. Although I love running in the rain, I was prepared with the best possible dry setup as well.  I have a great setup for the USA made slicks and they work better than the UK tires.  I was ready for a wet or dry race,” said Lampe.  “From here on out, the USA tire is what we will be racing on.”

The entire podium ran Dunlop rain tires.
