DUNLOP TIRES DOMINATE ENDURANCE RACES DURING CMRA STOP AT TEXAS WORLD SPEEDWAY
Dunlop teams swept the top three spots in the 8 Hour Endurance race while Dunlop riders climbed the podium 11 times during CMRA’s stop at Texas World Speedway over the March 21-22 weekend.
Village Idiots won the overall team endurance race, followed by Team HPC and Team Big Boy Racing. HPC and Big Boy Racing were 1-2 in the Team SBAE class, while Village Idiots and fellow Dunlop team Privateer Tools were 1-2 in the Team SBCE class.
JC Camacho was the big winner among individuals with three trips to the podium on the weekend. Camacho was runner-up in the SuperSport C, SuperBike B, and SuperBike C races. Novice Javier Martinez-Abrego won the SuperSport C Novice race and placed third in the SuperSport B Novice race.
Marco Gismondi won the Modern Classic on Sunday, while Garet Tomlinson, a member of Village Idiots, claimed second place in the SuperSport B race. Scott Buckley, Dolph McVicker, and Megan Wanat each earned a second place finish on the weekend. Pete Martins captured a third place finish.
CMRA racing returns May 15-17 from Hallett Motor Racing Circuit, with the third leg of the 2015 season.
