DUNLOP PICKS UP SIX WINS AT THUNDERHILL

Deion Campbell Dunlop Racing at ThunderhillDeion Campbell picked up three wins, Rickey Corey won two races, and Marcel Irnie picked up another victory as Dunlop riders combined to win six races during AFM’s stop at Thunderhill Park in Northern California over the June 1 weekend.

Campbell easily cruised to wins in the 600 Production, 600 SuperBike, and 750 SuperBike races, his first three AFM wins of the season. With his weekend performances, Campbell moved into fifth place in the AFM overall points standings this season.

Irnie picked up his win, his first as a Dunlop rider, in the Open GP race, edging fellow Dunlop rider Lenny Hale for the victory. Hale, added two more podium finishes to the weekend, placing behind a Dunlop winner both times. Corey and Hale went 1-2 in the Open SuperBike and also finished first and third in the Formula Pacific.

Dunlop Race Tire Service will be back out at the tracks this weekend with stops in Atlanta for the WERA Cycle Jam and at Arroyo Seco for ASMA racing.
