Race Tire Service and DUNLOP Celebrate Historical Championship Year
2010 was a historical year of race wins and championships for Race Tire Service, DUNLOP and racers in the eastern USA.
Leading the charge is Santiago Villa, clinching THREE CCS #1 expert plates in the Mid Atlantic, South East and Florida regions. Sean Cassell with TWO CCS #1 amateur plates and Jason Zelibor with the Summit Point CCS #1 amateur plate. Never before has any rider ever clinched those 3 regions as an expert in CCS competition. Congratulations Santiago, Sean and Jason.
Additional Regional CCS championships:
In CCS Florida Region, Dunlop riders won 30 championships: Sean Cassell (6), Santiago Villa (5), Kat Zimpel (4), Sean Dwyer (3), Stefano Mesa (2), Chris Boy and 3 others with 1 championship each.
In CCS Southeast, another 22 championships: Sean Cassell (6), Kat Zimpel (5), Matt Brown (4), Santiago Villa (2) and 5 others with 1 championship each.
In the remaining CCS regions, east of the Mississippi, Dunlop racked up another 35 expert championships. Dunlop won a total of 87 CCS expert championships at the regional level alone.
In WERA the story is much the same. Sticking to just the top 7 expert classes (600, 750 1000 Supersport and Superbike + Formula 1 Ex). Dunlop riders racked up an amazing 100% of the championships available in the top 7 classes within the Mid Atlantic, Mid Central, North Florida and Southeast WERA regions.
Mid Atlantic: Sweeping all of the top 7 championships is Sam Giage (7). 100% Mid Central: Tim Hunt (3), Hayden Gillim (2), David White (1), Jimmy Merck (1). 100% North Florida: Brian Stokes (2), Garrett Gerloff (2), Michael Brooks (2), Chris Steele (1). 100% Southeast: Tim Hunt (2), Jimmy Merck (2), Hayden Gillim (2), Chris Steele (1). 100%

Race Tire Service has 100% service coverage on every Moto2, AMA, ASRA, CCS, WERA and Moto Series (Fasttrax) event east of the Mississippi. 7 AMA National events, 7 ASRA Nationals, 7 WERA Nationals, 37 CCS regional, 28 WERA regional, 8 Moto Series events and 1 Moto2, all totaling 95 events for the 2010 racing season.
